Thank you to our competition winner, Karen Woodley, for sending us a few pictures and information about her day out at the Blenheim Palace Festival of Transport 2018.
Karen said “Had a lovely morning, at the festival. Loved the Tesla’s, must have been one of the biggest line ups to see the cars, loved the ‘dancing car’ gullwing doors and mirrors.
Loads of vintage cars and motorbikes, chatted to the owners and it is clear their love for their cars and restoration that has taken place. For some of them their cars and their restoration has been a life long work (wives and taking over front rooms were mentioned a couple of times).
Plenty of side stalls, bars, food, items to buy.
In the grounds of the wonderful Blenheim Palace, birth place of Sir Winston Churchill, to also have a wander around the grounds / lakes/ house was wonderful.
A great day out, and highly recommended”
