I’d love to go, not been for a few years due to spending my money on cars. I’d like to drive my 1972 Opel Ascona Voyage there and back, but it’s only slowly coming back to the road after being in a barn since 1976.

  • Jane Fern says:

Would love to go to the Classic Car Show as it’s local and the best! If I had a choice of any classic to drive there and back in, I think it would be a Classic Mini Cooper in racing green. We’d be there in minutes!!!

  • Andy Fern says:

I’d love to win tickets to this; it’s the best and most diverse show of the year and has a great atmosphere. My choice for a “money no object” drive, would be either an early Porsche 356, or a big block late 60s MOPAR, maybe a ’69 Charger. All the best, Andy.

  • Jane Wathan says:

I’d love to attend because I’m a member of Retro Caravan Club and we have a stand here this year – many of our members own classic tow cars too and I want to be one of them! I just need some inspiration and where better to get it than the show? Being a country girl, I’d love to attend the show in a Series lll Landy Station Wagon.

  • Jean Cass says:

I would love to win a classic mini from 1966 the year I was born!

An original Lotus 7- A raw motoring experience

  • Will Wynn says:

Hi William, Great name by the way. I assume you’ll want to take the AC Cobra, as the engine will drown out the missus. 😀

    Good luck.

  • Will Wynn says:

Wow Andy great choice, what a cool dude you are. For anyone whose not aware of the Voisin Aerosport, check it out here.

  • Bill Willocks says:

It’s got to be an AC Cobra for me and attending the show will start the journey to purchase my dream car. The talking is done it’s time.

  • Andy M says:

Why? I love cars! My choice would be a Voisin Aerosport…style taken to another level.

  • Chris Hall says:

I would take my partner and arrive in style in an Aston Martin DB6 which purrs along with style and elegance

  • Will Wynn says:

    Hi Geoff,

The Jensen 541 is a beautiful, and very underrated car in our opinion. Great choice. All the best.

  • Geoff Gammon says:

Jensen 541 or C-V8, covering 1954 to 1966. Something about their styling, never driven one, but always admired them. I love the title given to them “Grand Tourer” and the interiors always look very opulent. Would love to take the wife to the N.E.C., best regards to who ever wins.

  • Charles Robertson says:

Looking for a new classic car to run. Fancy a Lotus Elan big valve

  • Gordon Ure says:

I would love to drive a 1972 Buick Riveria Boat Tail 455 , this is my dream car to own. It may seem strange to a lot of people, but it is a car I have dreamed about since seeing a poster of one way back in the 70’s

  • Will Wynn says:

    Hi Gus,

The Dino was my father-in-law’s favourite car. Beautiful lines. Prices have gone mad in the last decade. They were 20-80k several years ago. You can check out more on the Dino 246 here.

  • Will Wynn says:

    Hi Anrea,

The Lamborghini Miura, what a beauty. Check out more about the Lamborghini Miura here. Good luck.

  • Christine Driver says:

Would love to take my boyfriend to this and my dream car to travel to and from would be the Morgan

  • Gus Erlandson says:

I would love to drive there in Dino 246 . I missed the chance of owning one in the late seventies when they were affordable and now they are totally out of reach .

  • Jane Fern says:

I love this show and would take my husband with me as an early birthday treat for him! We would have to travel in style in ‘George’ our 1969 Savannah beige VW Beetle.

  • Andrea Lawry says:

I would like to go to the Classic Motor Show to indulge into an era gone by, to capture the days when life was less complex and motorcars were machines of simple enjoyment, an object that took you on a journey, an adventure, it was never A to B. I would like to arrive in something Italian and love the Lamborghini Miura, an Italian supercar, which is elegant and beautiful from every angle.

  • Will Wynn says:

    Very nice Andrea. Cool.

  • Andrea says:

I’d drive a Maserati 1964 Sebring in red! Nothing classier (and classic) than a vintage Mas!

  • Donna Musk says:

An old Vauxhall Viva , beautiful car and lifetime of memories
This day out is perfect for classic car lovers ❤️

  • Will Wynn says:

    Hi William,
The event is certainly magical and has something for everyone. What a cracking choice of car, and we have to agree with you on your statement, we also feel it’s one of the most beautiful cars ever made.

    Good luck.

    Will

  • William says:

I’d love to attend this great event as I’ve not been able to attend for a few years and I remember it being brilliant.

In my dreams I’d drive to the event and back in a Ferrari 250 GT SWB Berlinetta. The most beautiful car ever made don’t you think?

  • Nick Tooley says:

I need my annual dose of CLassic Cars, perhaps this is the year I’ll buy one? If I could choose, I’d travel in a red Ferrari Daytona, a car I’ve loved since it was launched in 1968. Still a real head-turner.

  • Chris Hall says:

A fabulous day out and seeing all the fabulous classic cars

  • sam pope says:

My son would love to go as he’s car mad. And I reckon we’d like to drive a big silver monster!
