    Hi Stewart,

I agree the workmanship on the Pagani Huayra is amazing and the stuff of dreams.

  • Stewart Barker says:

One of my favourite performance cars in recent years has been the Pagani Huayra. I found this car intriguing when it was first released because it was such a radical departure from the Zonda of which the company had been producing over the course of 18 years, from 1999 to 2017. I first saw the Huayra at a local supercar meet last Summer and was astonished at the exceptional level of craftsmanship that had gone into creating the entire car, especially the exquisite detailing of the interior.

Of course with it’s hypercar status the Huayra is also impressive in terms of performance, thanks to a twin-turbo Mercedes AMG 6.0 V12 that helps it to accelerate from 0-60 in 2.8 seconds and onwards to a remarkable top speed of 230MPH. My only slight criticism with the Huayra is trying to pronounce the name!

  • Bryan Evans says:

The Aston Martin One 77 has to be my favourite performance car simply for its rarity with only 77 built and outstanding looks, This British built car is one of the last true Grand Tourers and would be a blast to travel around the B roads in the U.K.

  • Jodie Tranter says:

Mine would personally be the Porsche 918 spider. Elegant yet aggressive. The best of both for a high performance sports car

  • Petra Hora says:

    Porsche 718 is amazing!

  • Paul davis says:

Would have struggled for this, but after seeing a Porsche 911 GT3 RS Crawling through town and accelerating away once past the last set of lights a couple of days ago in Hereford. Looks amazing, but the sound is what makes it!! It has to be one of them!

  • Catherine Stannard says:

Porsche 911. Its one of the best handling cars of today and it’s elegant and comfortable.

  • Stewart Longhurst says:

My favourite performance car is probably the car that got me hooked on sports cars – the Lotus Esprit – no doubt as a direct result of some clever 007 trickery in The Spy Who Loved Me around 40 years ago. I love Giugiaro’s “folded paper” looks and it just has such a purposeful stance.

  • Mel Williams says:

My 14 year old son is in awe of all performance cars and he would love to see them all up close , however the Maclaren Mp4 is apparently in a class of it’s own.

  • Vaughan Dee says:

I love the McLaren MP4 12C – I had the pleasure of driving this car on a track day a few years ago and what an amazing experience it was. The car is amazing and i would love to own one some day! It was in the best colour too – McLaren Orange. Fantastic car, fantastic brand!

  • Ioanna Leonti says:

The McLaren 720S is my all time favorite performance car because of the looks and obviously the incredible sound!

  • Douglas McMillan says:

My favourite performance is the Koenigsegg Agera RS. When it comes to performance there is nothing better, combine that with the incredible styling and it truly is a work of art.

  • Alex Vellios says:

My favorite performance car is Ferrari f430 because in my opinion its the definition of beauty.

  • Russell Cook says:

To coincide with the 70th anniversary of Ferrari which will be celebrated at the Autosport International Show in 2018 it has to be the stunningly beautiful Ferrari Dino 246. For everybody else at school in the 70’s it was Lamborghini’s, Astons or Lotuses, but for me that Dino won my heart as soon as I saw it and I still feel the same whenever I see one, 40 odd years later

  • Heather Cain says:

well my all time favourite car is the BMW M3 as they are practical and sporty and also suitable for women as well as men
