Win a pair of tickets to the 2016 Concours of Elegance
Some would say this is a unique event, some would say it’s a “not to be missed” event, some would say it’s the best classic car event in the UK, if not the world, and we believe it would be hard to argue against this. I can tell you one thing, of all the events that we attend yearly, and in all our life (to date) this event is one I will bend over backwards to always attend. The venues are unparalleled (properties of the British Royal family), the cars on show exquisite (and often so rare only 1 exists), the event is not overcrowded (well to date at least), it is just a wonderful event and day out.
Well this years event will be held at the wonderful Windsor Castle on 2-4 September 2016, and yes we’ve done it again. We’ve only gone and secured 5 pairs of tickets to give away to you our readers. This is one of, if not the premier UK Classic Car Shows, the ultimate UK Concours of Elegance. This year is the 5th holding of the event.

I agree with you regarding the Ferrari 250 SWB – powerful muscularity that looks just right, but how about another Ferrari, the Dino 246? Just gorgeous from every angle. There are loads more out there. Early Porsche 911? Lamborghini Miura? I could go on!

Great choice. A personal favourite of ours is the beautiful Ferrari 250SWB Berlinetta. Gorgeous.
This would have to be the Ferrari 250 California swb that I saw at Silverstone Classic in 98 or 99.
Was parked next to a maclaren F1 outside the owners motor home. Still have the pic somewhere!

On a purely personal level, the most beautiful classic car for me is my newly acquired 1969 VW Beetle, ‘George’. He is original and full of character, just the way a classic should be!

1931 Daimler double six 50 Corsica – my dad use to own it before he died and when sold it went on to win Pebble Beach
My favorite classic is a 1966 GT40, it looks beautiful but the sound is in real… Saw one at Prescott hill climb. Made me dribble a bit….lol
