If you are looking for a greener model, then consider the Kuga Titanium TDCI 150 with two-wheel drive. It comes with 150 bhp, can accelerate from 0-60 in 10.1 seconds and has a top speed of 121 MPH. However, more importantly for this model, it develops a combined fuel economy of 60.1 mpg, an Urban economy of 52 mpg and an extra urban economy of 66 mpg.

When it comes to the interior, it looks smart and is very practical with lots of cubbyholes and cup holders. There is also plenty of space in both the front and back for tall people and the seats are also very comfortable. Boot space has a capacity of 460-litres with the back seats up, however if you drop the seats, the capacity increases to 1,603 litres.

The baby Range Rover continues to be a massive success, earning 9/10 on Top Gear reviews. It is the leader in small, luxury SUVs and thanks to Victoria Beckham, it is a Range Rover designed for fashionistas.

Base models for the Evoque start with a two-wheel drive, 2.0-litre diesel engine that delivers 150 bhp. Base model has a top speed of 113 MPH and can go from 0-60 in 11.2 seconds. It has a combined fuel economy of 65.7 mpg. All the stats improve as you go up the models.

When it comes to having a greener model, Evoque comes with a four-cylinder 2.0-litre developing 150 bhp, gets to 60 MPH in 11.2 seconds and has a top speed of 113 MPH. When it comes to fuel economy, the greenest Evoque offers 68.9 mpg.

If speed is your aim, then the Evoque can deliver with a 4-cylinder turbo charged 2.0-litre petrol engine with automatic gearbox. It has an impressive 240 bhp, accelerates from 0-60 in 7.6 seconds and has a top speed of 135 MPH.

When it comes to the Evoque’s interior, you know you are sat in a Range Rover. The cabin is covered in expensive materials, soft leathers and polished metal, with the additional details of mood lighting. They come with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment, which can be fiddly when driving, so careful you keep your eyes on the road.

When it comes to luxury SUVs like the Evoque, you expect plenty of head and legroom for both front and rear passengers. The Evoque delivers that in spades. The five door version obviously makes it easy to get into the back of the car, but on the three door version the large front doors help with that too. Boot space in the Evoque is 575 litres with the rear seats up, however when they are dropped, you get a brilliant 1,445-litres as well as a flat floor.

Volvo XC60

Every model comes with emergency braking as standard rather than as an optional extra. The system scans for pedestrians and is able to bring the car to a halt autonomously when sensing a risk of imminent impact.  It comes with a full range of airbags and plenty of stability systems. Volvo takes safety very seriously and has its own safety testing facility. Volvo ensured that the XC60 was an extremely safe car and scored an impressive 94% adult protection score on the Euro NCAP.

The base model for the Volvo XC60 is a surprisingly powerful SUV consider it is the cheapest model Volvo offers for the XC60. It has 190 bhp coming from its four-cylinder diesel engine and manual gearbox. It can sprint from 0-60 MPH in 8.1 seconds and has a top speed of 130 MPH. When it comes to fuel economy, the Volvo XC60 offers a combined economy of 62.8 mpg, an urban economy of 58 mpg for city driving and motorway driving offers 67 mpg for extra-urban economy.

When it comes to the interior, the Volvo takes a different approach to many other SUVs and offers a very minimalistic design. It is made up of good quality materials and a dashboard that appears to float, but however hides a very useful cubbyhole.

Because Volvo is well known for making family orientated cars, the XC60 has fantastic room for every passenger without having to worry about feeling cramp. Boot space is, as expected, excellent with 495-litres of capacity and if you drop those rear seats, the have a capacity of 1,455-litres.

4X4 are fantastic cars, which have a lot to offer to families, businesses and individuals.
