Yes, we’ve done it again. We’ve only gone and secured 5 pairs of tickets to give away to you our readers. This time we will be awarding 5 pairs of tickets to one of, if not the premier UK Classic Car Shows, the Concours of Elegance. This years 4th holding of the event will take place at the Palace of Holyroodhouse (Edinburgh) between 4-6th September 2015.
I can tell you one thing, of all the events we attend this I will bend over backwards to always attend. The venues are unparalleled, the cars on show exquisite, the event is not overcrowded, it is just bliss.

Always interested in feedback/ pictures. We are looking to be there on Saturday and Sunday probably, having attended Salon Prive on the Friday. Maybe if we are there on the same day we can hook up.
Will – definitely being present when Neil Corner and John Surtees piloted Auto Union C type and Mercedes W125 respectively at the Silverstone Classic in 1997.

For me it was a 1954 Mercedes Grand Prix car at the Goodwood Festival of Speed last year – I was standing less than a foot away from it while the driver was revving it up, bringing it up to temperature before taking it out on the hill. One of the mechanics was feeling parts of the car, checking where how hot various bits were and ensuring everything was running smoothly. It was magical – a moment I shall never forget.
