I went last year, and found *exactly* the special tool I wanted in the autojumble. I should have snapped it up, but I didn’t, and couldn’t find the stall when I went back. Might it still be there this year? 🙂

    Hi

The NEC Classic Car show is an absolute must for people interested in Classics, tickets also include entry to the Classic Motorbike show, so if you like meeting people and talking Classics there is no finer place. For me its the high point of the year. There are a lot of modern classic car clubs exhibiting also, like the MX5 Owners Club, so all tastes are catered for. Make sure your camera is fully working and take plenty of throat sweets for a great day. A free ticket would be much appreciated.

  • Sharon says:

I’d love to take my husband to the NEC classic car show as he’s such a petrol head.

  • Will Wynn says:

I would love to win these tickets for my best mate and myself. We both became first time fathers and have both been working long weeks in our respective jobs. Our common interest is cars, classics more than anything else, and i ‘d love to be able to give us some dad time at the show ( but still look forward to getting home to our little girls 🙂 )

  • Kate Leigh says:

Haven’t been to the NEC classic in many years but it does make a nice fillip during the lean winter months.

Loads of cars you’ve forgotten about and a few I’m astonished anyone’s bothered to save. And a poke around the autojumble always reveals oddities.

  • Deborah Street says:

We would love to go my husband to be able to see some great cars and talk to all the people there who share a passion for the show and the cars.

  • Will Wynn says:

Chris, three years without a classic, tragic.

Let’s hope you’ll win our competition and be there.

  • Will Wynn says:

    Hi Patricia,

I agree with you. This is a wonderful event for any classic car fan to attend. The variety of cars is always astounding. I wonder if there is any bigger classic car event in the world?

We are really looking forwards to attending.

    Maybe we’ll see you there!

  • Patricia Owen says:

We were treated to tickets for the Classic Motor Show a couple of years ago for my husband’s birthday. I expected that it would be much more interesting for him than for me but we both had a delightful time. The enthusiasm of the exhibitors is catching. They have fascinating stories to tell about each car’s history. The show is also a photographer’s dream. I’m only amateur but I had great fun capturing unusual images.

  • julie akroyd says:

Fantastic blast from the past and I want to be a part of it

After 3 years without a classic my hubbie is now on the hunt for his next project to do with the children’s help, this will be an ideal way to get some inspiration

  • Helen Yendall says:

My chap’s a real car fanatic. Would love to treat him to a day out at this great show!
