My morning at HR Owen’s London service centre.

A friend of mine has recently made an excellent purchase of a Lamborghini Diablo SE30 Jota, 1 of the 3 right hand drives (only 2 left). The car is currently with HR Owen who checked it over prior to purchase, and are now giving the car a fully service, engine out and all.

I was kindly invited by said friend to go with him to check up on the progress. Well, the cars they have down there, millions and millions of pounds.  If you’ve never seen such a service centre then it is truly something to behold.

First we travelled down to the HR Owen service centre in his Telsa Roadster which is a very smooth ride and nice to travel the short journey in.  He’s looking to sell it, so if you’re in the market for one drop me an email or comment below and I can hook you both up.

Anyway, I must have seen 20+ Rolls Royce’s, 10 Bentley’s, 20+ Lamborghini’s (including a Miura SV and 4 Aventadors), 3 Bugatti Veyron‘s (1 owner they know has 3 Veyron’s with a 4th on order, now that’s just excessive!) and a Ford Mustang Fastback. Nice :D.

Did you know?

A Bugatti Veyron rear tire is £6,500 to replace, and of course you cannot just replace 1!  A Bugatti Veyron centre wheel cap is £3,500 (it’s only 15cm big of one piece, hand crafted aluminium).  Well I suppose as the saying goes, “if you can afford to buy the car you can afford to fix it”.

Unfortunately I was not allowed to take any photos, so you’ll just have to visualise what I saw. Is was great way to spend a few hours and I look forwards to doing it again sometime.
