Classic Car Show of 2012
So, the back of 2012, and what a year for classic car fans. It seems that there are more classic car events every year and those well-known events that we all try to attend get better and better.
Of course it is difficult to go to all the events, there are now too many, well certainly if you want to attend them all. Here is a summary of all the events we attended and our top three. Let us know your event of the year.

e started the year with this great event, which regrettably I could not make, but our competition winners really did have a great time. Click here for a chance to win tickets for 2013 Race Retro.

Again, I was unable to make this, but our competition winners very much enjoyed this event.

I was very keen to attend this event, given I had spent the majority of my teen years living near Crystal Palace and had visited the park 100s of times prior. I really did enjoy this event. The Cholmondeley Pageant of Power
I’m yet to make this, and again this year did not either. Our competition winners did make it, and said apart from the weather (rain), it was a great event. I’ll be trying to make it this year.

Windsor Castle Concours of Elegance
I have never been to a show of which such majestic cars on display, and so many that I have never seen in the flesh before. Plus it has my car of the year there, the amazingly beautiful Rolls-Royce Phantom 1 Jonckheere Coupe. Plus I got to see a Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato up close, a memorable event. Read our review here!

Love the racing, car clubs, stands, memorabilia, food and drink, all makes for a great event. Plus the event is not too big, so you really can do everything in a day. Read our review here!

What can be said that has not already been said about this magnificent event? Each year is seems to get bigger and bigger, which personally I’m not keen on, but it is certainly a must attend event, at least once every two years. Read our review here!

I had never been to this event previously. I went this year and what an event. Supercars, rare cars, classic cars, in beautiful surroundings, with well dressed people and lovely food and drink, what’s not to love. An event I’ll try to attend each year from now on. Read our review here!

We finished the year with the wonderful Classic Car Show at the NEC. If you love classic cars, this is a chance to get up close to many a classic car, car clubs, memorabilia, car related products of all kinds and much more. This is one I will always want to go to year on year. Read our review here!
